Meet ASR's " Maverick", formerly known as Ringo !  Mav was adopted in July, 2020 but sadly has just come back to ASR. 

Mav is a lovely sweet boy and his family loves him very much but family circumstances have changed . Mav is great with dogs and is fully crate trained . Mav's BIG love is balls, all kinds of balls, and he will play ball for hours. While Maverick did not live with kids, he did spend a lot of time with visiting teenagers ( and they were his best buds because they would throw the ball for hours :-) . Mav can be protective for his family with strangers in the home and his fosters are working on that . 

Maverick's perfect home would be with an experienced GSD family.....active and who may want to do dog sports like obedience, rally or K-9 Nosework . A dog with Mav's ball drive would be perfect ! A fenced in yard and another younger pup for him to romp with is also recommended as he seems to relax with the presence of another dog.
