Hi There!  My name is Athena - and yes, yes, I fit the name - can't you tell? :) 

I am a sweet young thing - less than a year - and, if I must say, I am not only beautiful, but I am a great judge of character (man and beast), and I am also very intelligent -  quick to learn and anxious to please.  I found myself in a shelter. I hate to talk about it, it was noisy and kinda scary,  but the people there were very nice and talked to me and worked with me and I played with other dogs until I was brought into rescue.  Here I am in my foster home; and wow, I thought I knew all about life - but there is so much more to learn!   I am still getting my confidence up and my foster mom is working on teaching me all the things I should know to be to make my forever family feel proud.  If you would like to know more, please contact the nice people at the rescue who will be so happy to tell you what an awesome dog I am.
