Sad News:

Today we had to say good bye to Paco.

Paco came to us with many health issues. After several vet visits including X rays and  an MRI & various combinations of medicines we reached the sad decision it was not fair to let Paco live a life with intermittent bouts of pain so severe he attacked himself.

Paco was  loved and cared for by his devoted fosters and we grieve with them.

RIP PACO.

Our hearts are broken we didn't have more time to show you the life you deserved,

Paco is a brave young dog who has come a long way to rescue!  He has just recently arrived, so we do not know too much about him as yet.  We do know that he is handsome - has a rakish air about him - and has been described as patient and sweet.  Paco came into the shelter with a badly injured tail and as a result lost about 3/4 of it to amputation.  He is a short tailed shepherd! :) He is a big boy and is very friendly.  He is fine with other dogs and is very eager to please.  His foster will update very soon......and we will post more pictures.
