Daytona is new to us - not too much information on him other than he is a nice sweet adult boy in need of a home.  We will update as we get to know him better.  He came into a shelter as a stray and impressed the shelter staff with his sweet nature and his sad eyes.  Daytona appears to have led a hard life.  His coat is not in the best condition right now, it is pretty dull and dry.  A nice stable home with lots love and good nutritious food will help. :)  Daytona appears to be fine around other dogs and walks well when leashed.  Because of his size, a home with older children would probably be best suited for him.  He will need to attend training classes with his new people - and that is a given.  Training helps both dog and new owner get to know the basics together and helps with that intial very important bond of trust that is so important.  It not only gives the dog confidence and structure, it helps to make sure that the family has a socially acceptable and well trained dog in the process.  Daytona would like to meet you.  Please contact us for more information.
