Please welcome, Jefferson.  He and his brother and four lovely and active sisters (whew), have just arrived and are ready for the next step -- a home and family of their own.  They are adorable, active and healthy little bodies - ready to rumble -- and to find their forever homes!  Jeffie loves everyone!  He is the sensitive one -- the guy that loves to snuggle and cuddle. :)  He is playful and does enjoy romping and running with the whole gang, but oh, he loves to be in your lap, too for a good belly rub and a snuggle!

UPDATE:  Hi everyone, this is Jefferson.. My foster mom says I'm one lucky boy -- I am lucky "cause I love my foster home. The kids kiss all over me ( so does my foster dad but that's our little secret) and I'm learning how to walk like a gentleman on my leash. I sleep through the night and never soil my crate. I'm 90 Per cent house trained - Foster Mom didn't listen when I ran to the door to say "I need to pee pee NOW!" so I went on the carpet in the formal living room to teach her that I may be tiny but I know what I'm talkin' bout! :) When mom let's me outside I always find my "perfect spots" and do my business - like a big boy!
The big lady dog, Kayla is nice to me but she scares me a bit cause she is so big . Still every day she brings toys to me to play with her. The big man dog, Wyatt --  well we have an agreement. As long as I stay in my crate quietly while mom gives him "Love on Wyatt Time", he says I can stay. So far he hasn't tried to eat me so he must get that I will be moving on if he let's me learn how to be a good family member.Any way, everyone is making a big deal cause my ears stick up every now and then. They say I'm becoming a big boy Shepherd. I may be tiny but I"m mighty! Gotta go take a nap! Jefferson

At All Shepherd Rescue, we are anxious to make sure  that all our babies find the best of homes.....and we realize that raising and caring for a  puppy can be a daunting task.  Adopting and raising any  puppy requires lots of love and lots of patience -- and newspapers! :)  It definitely is not for the faint of heart....A puppy requres a committment for a lifetime, and more patience than you can imagine, they are not cheap to raise, and they can be messy and loud and stubborn :) .....  but oh, the rewards are so worth it! . We emphasize beginning training - and for a good reason.  Training is so very important and should begin right from the git-go - at a young age, just as with your own children.  This is crucial, because you shape the dog that your puppy will become. Remember, this cute little guy is going to grow and become a very handsome bigger guy...and his deportment and social skills are in your hands!  Do your research please.  Make sure a puppy is right for you and that you can and that you will commit to him for his lifetime.  Jefferson's foster home includes other dogs, and he has a few kids to play with, too!
