Zeus is a beloved family german shepherd who needs to find a new home due to an illness in the family.   He has been with the same family since he was a puppy but given the circumstances, they think he would be better off with a person or family who can give him the attention that he deserves.

Zeus is smart, already knows some basic commands SIT, LAY DOWN, PAW, LEAVE IT and has good recall with his name.  He enjoys playing fetch and chewing on bully sticks.  Like all young and smart german shepherds he would love and excel at training.

Zeus has spent his life with two female elementary school age children ages 6 and 8.  He has never lived with cats. 

Zeus loves to play with other dogs. He has been to dog parks. He barks a lot at other dogs but he is not aggressive and just wants to play. 

He is house and crate trained, and walks well on a leash.  Zeus enjoys car rides. He hops in the back of the CRV lift gate and jumps out when they reach their destination. 

His family prefers if his future family has a yard where he can play and run, but above all where he is loved.  A family or person who have the love and time to spend with him walking, playing, exercising, and relaxing at home will be rewarded with a devoted and adoring companion for life.
