Marigold is a sweet, affectionate, goofy and playful shepherd who is in a foster home but needs a forever family.

Her foster family loves her very much and want the best for her.  There is a flyer attached with detailed information about this special girl.

She would thrive with a fairly active family and in a home with other dogs, but she will do fine as an only dog as long as she gets lots of attention.

A few months ago, Marigold was left abandoned and severely underweight with her sister in south Texas.  Fortunately, the good volunteers of Lost Ball Canine Rescue saved her, and after several weeks in a loving, caring foster home, Marigold has blossomed into a healthy, wonderful, playful companion! 

Marigold is sweet and affectionate. She loves attention in any form: being scratched, petted or played with. She likes to be near someone and will follow you around the house. Marigold is goofy. She is like a giant puppy sometimes. She lays down to nap in the most awkward looking positions. 

Marigold is fun! Her favorite game is to chase and be chased around the house or out in the yard. 
She will try to play with most dogs and she is good with children who approach her calmly. 

She walks well on a leash and LOVES her long morning and evening walks (3-4 miles daily). With her long legs and athleticism, she would make a great running/jogging buddy.  

Marigold has settled in nicely with her foster canine brother and sisters: a male Beagle, a female Lab and a female Australian Cattle Dog and has met many dogs in and out of the home. 

Marigold is a quiet dog. She only barks when she hears someone knocking at the door or ringing the doorbell.

She sleeps quietly, is housebroken, and rides great in the car. And she is doing well with off-leash training, too! 

She loves to run and play fetch and chase with people. She knows some basic commands as YES, SIT, BACK UP and OFF.

Marigold is the whole package and for some lucky family will be the perfect devoted and loving companion.
