Amber is a sweet and affectionate dog who needs a new home that can provide a loving family and training.  

She was a family dog owned by an 80 year old gentleman who could not care for her any longer.  Now she is in a foster home with teenagers and is amazing with them.  Previously, she had exposure to kids of all ages around the neighborhood and teenage family members that came to visit.

She is active and has a strong prey drive and is aggressive to cats and needs training around other dogs.  She should be an only dog in a home without cats or small children, and with active people who can take her outside to exercise and play.

She has some training, she knows SIT, DOWN, and STAY.  She loves interactive toys, walking, chasing after a toy and playing in the yard. Check out the video of her in the yard, running around with the zoomies.  

She has shown to be reactive and fearful and currently takes Prozac, but this medicine would probably be eliminated once she is in a consistent, supportive and loving home.  The current owner only wants the best for her and may be willing to offer some lifetime veterinary care for the right circumstance.

Amber loves people and will flourish as an only dog, with an active person or family that have love to give and the interest and time to train her.
