Delilah is a delightful puppy - both playful and gentle, she wants to be everyone's friend...person, dog, cat... She loves belly rubs, going for walks, and playing out in a yard (she'll find a stick or chase a ball around, and she's been eyeing the squirrels). She is happy to sack out in her crate until it's time to go out again.

 

Delilah was found with her blanket, having been dumped on the side of a busy rural highway. A nice lady started leaving food for her, but ultimately called in the experts to catch her.  Because of this nice lady, Delilah remained well fed during her ordeal, with the only remaining sign a sensitivity to loud noises and cars too close to her, and a tendency for an initial shyness.

 

Delilah has been doing well with her leash training, has not had an accident in any of her foster homes, and is beginning to learn her basic commands.  Life with Delilah will be best with a fenced-in yard - she loves to run around and, in general, just to be outside...translate this to mean to be sure to take her on a leash when it's her last time out before bed!
