UPDATE:   Lily O is still very very shy and can become defensive if she doesn't want to leave her crate for a walk. Once out , she does well in group class. Lily O is fine with  large male dogs in play group  and we know she lived with smaller doodle -type dogs in her prior home.

Although she did live with teenagers in her prior home due to her fearful behavior at this time we recommend an adult only home, a quiet home with adopters willing to take it slow and help this beautiful girl blossom into the wonderful dog we know she can be.

Lily O's fear breaks our hearts but we are committed to helping her learn to trust new people and be ready for an adoptive home that will continue to work with her .

LILLY was purchased as a puppy to be a service dog for a veteran but unfortunately the family does not have time for Lilly and asked for help finding her a new home .

Lilly lives with two smaller dogs and teenagers but due to busy schedules, Lilly was not exposed to other people/dogs and will need a patient adopter. Although Lilly had never had formal obedience or leash training , she recently attended a basic class held by a local trainer and after initial fear, Lilly did great !

Lilly will need a calm and patient adopter to help introduce her to sites and sounds and new people , but she is a sweet gal and will learn quickly.
