CONGRATULATIONS LEXI, ON YOUR PENDING ADOPTION !!

1/1/2019 Update : Lexi is just the sweetest nice dog.......nice to everyone, cats, dogs and people of all ages. Talk about a cuddle bug......this girl is the ultimate one !

She may not have had the best care before coming to ASR but it certainly hasn't affected her amazingly sweet personality.

Unfortunately although she tested heartworm negative at the shelter a recent test indicates she is heartworm positive......we will be doing a more specific heartworm test but if she is indeed positive she will have to undergo heartworm treatment ......which basically consists of 3 separate injections, spaced over 60 days and in between she will need restricted activity.....Lexi can be adopted prior to/during treatment and All Shepherd Rescue will continue to be responsible for expenses associated with her care.

Lexi and her 3 adolescent pups ( Sam, Goldie and Daisy) were dropped off at a crowded rural shelter through no fault of their own.

We were thrilled we could save her along with her three pups.

Lexi must have been loved by her family though because she is very sweet and good natured ......just an all round nice dog!
