Sting is a big boy that is in need of a good home!  He was given up because his owners could no longer care for him.  He is a strong boy that is friendly with people.  Because of his size, we would recommend that he be placed in a home with children over 8 years.  He is a definite no with cats!  No kitties! :)  He is reported to be ok with dogs - does need slow and formal introductions. Sting has lived in a home; however, he has spent most of his former life outdoors.  He is way too thin and needs a good 20 lbs put on his bony frame!  He is sweet and loving and loves to be petted!  Sting has had little in the way of formal training in his short life and he does need it!  He  needs to learn his leash manners and how to act like a gentleman when on a walk and not pull. :)  At least a basic course in obedience training with his family will go a long way in establishing a bond of trust between them and will also give both dog and humans the opportunity to learn together.  This is so important - and it makes for a social and well behaved dog - and a happy family!
